I had the pleasure of meeting Ian and Lydia in February 2012. After only a little while chat about weddings, me and Ian discovered we knew many of the same people from the world of Starbucks (Me being an ex employee and Ian is a store manager). That day Ian and Lydia booked with myself. We then met up again for their pre-wedding shoot at Lossiemouth which you will find in an earlier post.
Ian and Lydia's wedding can only be best described as themselves, laid back, easy going and just fun! Every guest at that wedding was so happy, the guests made myself and the second photographer feel welcome and as always, we made the effort to chat to as many people as we can, this I feel brings down any barriers and makes the guest more relaxed when photographing. A big thank you to Jim, Lydia's dad for thanking me in his speech, I am very grateful.
The Mansfield in Elgin was also a very beautiful venue, the staff very attentive and the food..... Outstanding. Looking forward to my return.
From 9am till 11,30pm we had a blast and were sad to leave, long drive home and sleep was needed.
Thank you Ian and Lydia for letting me be part of their day!
