It's July 2016 and the last day in the Faroe Islands for 2016. I could not have asked for a better moment to have 20 minutes alone before boarding the plan and returning back to normality. .

Very often when I have had a heavy workload that sometimes takes weeks to complete, I like to reward myself with a road trip. This might be for a day or go camping for a few days.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I packed the tent and all the gear in the car and drove north west to Assynt. This was to be my first visit to Assynt and I fell in love straight away. On that road trip, the first day was perfect and this is where I captured the striking Stac Pollaidh from Loch Cul Dromannan.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As much as I love the cold winter, I’m ready for summer! I’m excited to be sitting on the hills or at the beach, feeling the warm air and just taking photographs.

Two summers again, I was lucky to be spending 6 weeks in the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 the light was perfect, granted I had to wait till 10pm at to get the light but it was worth it.

Sadly I’m only visiting for one week this summer but I’m excited as I’m taking my sister for the first time and also my mother. I know my sister is going to love it.
