The internet has changed how we learn new skills – tutorials are available with the swipe of a screen. Photography is no exception. But a virtual experience can’t compare to good old-fashioned, hands-on learning. Out in the elements. Just you and your camera. That’s where the learning really begins.

Are you looking to develop your landscape photography or are you seeking a photography adventure? For me, a camera is so much more than a tool to take a photo – it’s a passport to adventure. And a photographic memory with every shot you take. We all have different definitions of adventure but photography can transport you to one like no other. It combines the great outdoors, feeds your creativity, can be a source of meditation and escapism that gives you the chance to be alone in your thoughts. My adventure days help you create the stories you want to capture – and share the memories behind the image. 

 Who are 1-2-1 photography workshop days for?

1-2-1 workshops are designed for everyone, from the beginner to the semi- professional. You could be just starting out and looking to learn the basics or looking to expand your skills and fuel your passion to a new level of creativity. Maybe you simply want to discover new locations and compositions or chat about photography – it’s your adventure so you set the pace.

Tailoring the day around you

Photography is personal and your style is unique to you. That’s why your adventure day will be tailored around your interests, skills and requirements. Each session is relaxed and informal. Your day won’t revolve around me telling you what to photograph, I’ll share my knowledge while you call the shots.

When you book, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire to complete. This will help me make sure you get the most from your day. We’ll then chat about locations, the best time of year, the equipment you own and more. We can even set aside some time during the session to go over editing or any specific element of photography you want to learn more about.

 What’s included?

• A typical day lasts a minimum 8 hours.

• Use of a Nisi Filter kit

• Tripod if required

• Image review

• Lightroom session either after session or via video chat

• Coffee and cake stop

• Excluded

• Accommodation

• Meals

• Camera equipment

• Insurance

• Transportation to locations (Depending on COVID restrictions)

 Price

Half days (4 hours*) are £150. Additional guests are £25 each.

Fully day (8 Hours*) are £250. Additional guests are £25 each.

Please note: (A £50 booking fee required to secure session with the remaining balance due 24 hours before session)

I also offer private photography days for two (or three people if you’d like your partner or a friend to attend). Those booking a joint session may spilt the cost. If you’d like to book several consecutive days, I’ll be happy to quote on an individual adventure basis.
